Who you're dealing with

I'm Seb. Cupán Studio is me: one person, no agency behind it.

Why I build them first

Independent coffee shops are the last kind of business where the product is genuinely better than the chain's and the website is genuinely worse. You'll find a shop roasting properly, pulling better shots than anywhere on the street, with a Facebook page from 2019 and no opening hours on it anywhere.

The reason isn't that owners don't care. It's that getting a website means finding a designer, agreeing a price, writing a brief, chasing revisions, and six weeks of that while also running a café. Almost nobody has the appetite. So it never happens.

So I took that whole part out. I build the site, I put it live, I send you the link. If it's good you'll know in ten seconds, and if it isn't you've lost nothing but ten seconds.

Why coffee shops

Because they're the shops I'd pick myself, because Dublin has well over a hundred good independent ones, and because the same six pages serve nearly all of them, which is exactly why I can charge €690 for something an agency has to charge €2,000 for.

Not general "small businesses." Coffee shops, roasters, café-bakeries and carts, in Dublin. That's the whole list.

What I won't do

  • I won't email you five times. Three, and then I stop.
  • I won't put a fake testimonial on this site. When I have real clients they'll be on the work page with their names on. Until then there aren't any, and this sentence is what an honest version of that looks like.
  • I won't sell you a monthly plan you don't need. €690 and never hearing from me again is a completely fine outcome.
  • I won't hold your site hostage. Pay once and it's yours: domain in your name, files handed over if you ever want them.

What I want

Ten Dublin shops with sites they actually use, who'd tell another owner about it. That's the whole plan. There isn't a funnel behind this.
